This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The construction utilizes a rear pullout design to allow for servicing without disturbing system piping and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. The pump uses a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid.
The unit is configured with a 25 HP WEG TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM. It utilizes a 284JM motor frame style with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical requirements are 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz, with an across the line starting configuration. This pump meets NEMA standards for a 40°C ambient temperature and complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. It maintains CCW rotation and has a pump efficiency index (PEI) of 0.89. The top centerline discharge design facilitates piping layouts and self-venting.
