This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter. It includes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation in temperatures up to 250°F.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP TEFC Baldor Super E motor in NEMA frame 254. It is configured for a 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and supports across the line starting. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 efficiency standards. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base equipped with a drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a standard coupler guard. This model maintains a 40°C ambient rating, is EISA compliant, has a DOE PEI of 0.89, and an HI energy rating of 11.
