This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge, both with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze with a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing the system piping.
The pump is powered by a 1 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM and is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump utilizes an across the line starting option and maintains a pump efficiency index (PEI) of 0.83.
