This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes an 11" nominal impeller diameter, a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. A bronze shaft sleeve is used, and the mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump utilizes a rear pullout design for servicing and a dry shaft configuration to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. It is equipped with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The top center line discharge design assists with self-venting and reduces piping strain.
The pump uses a 7 1/2 HP, 1150 RPM Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a 254 JM frame with feet. It operates on a 230-460/60/3 power supply and utilizes across the line starting. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures and meets NEMA standard and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. This configuration features AEGIS shaft grounding and CCW rotation.
