This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 5" suction and 4" discharge, both configured with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. A mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components functions at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for service access without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies layout and supports self-venting.
This pump is configured with a 15 HP TEFC WEG motor, housed in a 284 JM frame with feet, operating at 1150 RPM. The motor is compatible with a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and includes a drip cover, AEGIS shaft grounding, and an across the line starting option. It meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55. The assembly operates in a 40°C ambient temperature with counter-clockwise rotation.
