This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections, and the casing includes flush seal line taps to facilitate system maintenance.
This pump is driven by a 25 HP Baldor ODP motor in a 284T NEMA frame operating at 1750 RPM. The electrical configuration is rated for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power. The motor features premium efficiency ratings that meet MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A standard Woods flexible coupler connects the pump to the motor, which utilizes greasable bearings. This unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
