This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a class 30 cast iron casing with integrally cast mounting feet and a bronze impeller. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the stainless steel shaft, which is protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The unit supports a maximum working pressure of 125 PSI. The sealing system comprises a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat and EPT rubber components. Center-line discharge facilitates positive air venting, while gauge ports are drilled and tapped at the suction and discharge connections.
Powered by a 125 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor, this assembly operates at 1750 RPM and utilizes Aegis grounding on a 380-460V / 3PH power supply with a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The S in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 4X / IP 66 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
