This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The construction includes a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The unit utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F in clean water applications. Pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 256 T-frame. It is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. The bearing frame features greasable bearings, and the unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI of 0.92.
