This close-coupled end suction pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. It incorporates a dry shaft design that eliminates contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft to reduce corrosion. The assembly utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve to facilitate seal maintenance and has a ceramic seat half with EPT rubber components for the mechanical seal. The pump operates at a pressure limit of 125 PSI without a wear ring.
Powered by a 7.5 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor, this pump operates at 1750 RPM, incorporates Aegis grounding, and utilizes a 380-460V 3PH power supply. The unit achieves a DOE PEI rating of 0.47. The "S" in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
