This end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft, supporting a 125 PSI operating pressure. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat with EPT rubber, providing a fluid containment solution for the unit. This pump functions in a base-mounted configuration to maintain alignment and stability during operation.
The assembly is driven by a 20 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor operating at 3450 RPM with Aegis Grounding on a 380-460V / 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE: PEI of 0.47. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
