This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The seal is rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design and includes flush seal line taps along with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor uses a NEMA 254 T-frame and is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This configuration is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI of 0.9.
