This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and the rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping.
The pump is configured with a 3 HP motor operating at 1750 RPM in a TEFC enclosure. It utilizes a WEG motor frame 182 JM with feet, configured for a 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA standard requirements and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting option is across the line, and the unit operates with a counter-clockwise rotation. This pump meets premium efficiency standard MG1-12.55 and has a DOE PEI of 0.86. It is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
