This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for operation in clean water temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 50 HP WEG motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured with a NEMA 326 T-frame and is powered by 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz current. It supports across the line starting and features AEGIS shaft grounding and greasable bearings. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA, utilizing a Woods coupler. The system meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a PEI value of 0.92.
