This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a 6-1/4" nominal impeller diameter and ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design with an easy-to-replace, slip-on shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump design includes flush seal line taps for particle filtration and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration simplifies piping layouts.
The pump is configured with a 3 HP Baldor motor in a JM frame style with feet and a TEFC enclosure. It operates at 3450 RPM using a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The motor includes a factory-installed drip cover and AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and features a DOE PEI rating of 0.92. The motor mounting is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature and utilizes standard across-the-line starting.
