This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of stainless steel, paired with a cast iron casing and cover. The pump includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The design incorporates a rear pullout configuration for service, a top center line discharge for piping alignment, and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the system fluid and the shaft.
The pump is equipped with a 25 HP Baldor motor in a 256 JM frame with feet, operating at 3450 RPM. The motor is configured with an ODP enclosure and AEGIS shaft grounding, meeting MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. It operates on 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with across the line starting and CCW rotation. The unit is designed for a 40°C ambient temperature environment under NEMA standards and has a DOE PEI of 0.89.
