This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are included on both the suction and discharge connections, and the pump incorporates a self-flushing seal design.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and is housed in a NEMA 213 T frame. The assembly includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards, resulting in a PEI of 0.88. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient conditions.
