This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a stainless steel shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the shaft from contacting the system fluid. It is configured with a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The assembly incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies layout and facilitates self-venting.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured with a 182 JM frame style with feet and operates at 230-460/60/3PH. The motor features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards at a 40°C ambient temperature. The starting option is configured for across the line operation. This pump maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.86.
