This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly includes a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 324 T-frame enclosure. It is configured for 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power and utilizes across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and includes a Woods coupler and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for a 50°C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
