This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM using a 125 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 405T frame. It is configured for a 460/60/3 power supply and across the line starting. The assembly includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. The drive assembly uses greasable bearings, an AEGIS SGR, and an insulated bearing on the non-drive end. This unit meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with a PEI value of 0.93. The motor is rated for 40 °C ambient operation and features counter-clockwise rotation.
