This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. Integrated pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 182 T-frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 PH power with across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It uses a Woods coupler and greasable bearings within the bearing frame. The motor meets NEMA standards and MG1-12.55 efficiency requirements, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.88.
