This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing includes gauge ports on both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP ODP motor in a NEMA 145T frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The Baldor motor connects to the pump through a Woods coupler, which is enclosed by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The entire assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and utilizes greasable ball bearings. This equipment meets NEMA standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.87.
