This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP, 230-460V, 3PH WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 256 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports across-the-line starting and includes premium efficiency ratings according to MG1-12.55, complete with AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is connected to the motor via a Woods coupler protected by a standard guard. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a PEI value of 0.89.
