This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a class 30 cast iron casing with an integrated bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft. It incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve to facilitate maintenance, while the dry shaft design prevents contact between circulating fluids and the metallic shaft. This assembly is rated for 125 PSI operation and utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat and EPT rubber. The pump includes pressure tappings for both suction and discharge connections and utilizes a replaceable wear ring within the casing for enhanced durability.
The system utilizes a 25 HP premium efficiency ODP motor operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis grounding and a 200-230V 3PH power supply, yielding a DOE PEI of 0.46. The S in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA Type 1 / IP 21 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
