This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. The pump assembly includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design to facilitate service without disturbing system piping.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor. The motor is an ODP enclosure with a drip cover, configured in an 182JM frame style with feet. Electrical specifications include a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standard MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The ambient temperature rating is 40 °C. This unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.93.
