This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It has a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The unit operates at fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. It includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration supports self-venting and reduces piping strain.
The pump is configured with a 5 HP Baldor motor in an 182 JM frame with feet. It operates at 3450 RPM and features an ODP enclosure. Power input is 230-460V/60/3PH. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting option is across the line, and the unit maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
