This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly incorporates a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve, utilizing a dry shaft design to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA 213 T-frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3PH. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is equipped with a Woods coupler and a standard coupler guard. The system is rated for 40°C ambient temperature and has a PEI value of 0.94.
