This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design and does not include a wear ring.
This pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor mounted on a NEMA 213 T-frame. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and includes a standard coupler protected by a guard. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly features greasable bearings, is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures, and has a DOE PEI of 0.85.
