This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents fluid contact with the shaft. It includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit features flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and enables self-venting.
This pump is configured with a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor that operates at 3450 RPM. It runs on a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply and features premium efficiency that meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards with integrated AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor utilizes a 184 JM frame with mounting feet. The pump uses an across-the-line starting configuration and is rated with a DOE PEI of 0.87. It operates within a 40°C ambient temperature range and features a counter-clockwise rotation.
