This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump uses an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections for monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA 256T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This model meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures and has a PEI value of 0.94.
