This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft. It incorporates a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of EPT rubber with a ceramic seat and a carbon rotor, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly functions with a counter-clockwise rotation and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is powered by a 50 HP Baldor Super E motor with a TEFC enclosure and a NEMA 326 frame, configured for 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power. It operates at 3450 RPM using an across-the-line starting method and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This equipment meets EISA efficiency standards, carries a PEI value of 0.93, and maintains an HI Energy Rating of 7. It is rated for operation in ambient temperatures up to 40°C.
