This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port. It includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The unit is constructed with a rear pullout design and a top center line discharge. The internal assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This seal is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing is equipped with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. It utilizes ANSI Class 125 flanges and does not feature a wear ring.
This pump is driven by a 10 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor TEFC motor mounted on a 215 JM frame with feet. The electrical configuration operates on 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding, meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards, and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The assembly features a drip cover and provides a DOE PEI of 0.92.
