This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction port and a 2-1/2" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing and a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve to maintain a dry shaft configuration. The mechanical seal assembly incorporates a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250 °F for use with clean water. The pump design includes a bearing frame equipped with greasable bearings.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 213T frame. The system is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and utilizes across-the-line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. Mounting is provided by a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard housing a standard Woods coupler. This unit maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
