This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump includes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This seal configuration supports fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly utilizes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, while the top center line discharge facilitates self-venting and assists with piping layouts.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured with a 215 JM frame style with feet and operates on 230-460V/60/3PH power. It features across the line starting and maintains a 40°C ambient temperature rating. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
