This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction port and a 2-1/2" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing with an integrally cast bronze wear ring, a 10" nominal bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The design incorporates a dry shaft configuration to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber is rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located at both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP WEG motor. The unit uses a NEMA 213 T-frame motor with an ODP enclosure and is configured for 230-460/60/3 power supply with across-the-line starting. It features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA standard requirements. The pump assembly is secured to a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and is connected to the motor via a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This model maintains a DOE PEI of 0.94 and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards.
