This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" bronze impeller. The assembly includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact with circulating fluid and incorporates flush seal line taps for particle filtration. The top center line discharge design facilitates self-venting, and the rear pullout configuration allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping.
The pump is driven by a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 182 JM frame style with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with an across the line starting configuration. This unit meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is configured for 40°C ambient temperatures with counter-clockwise rotation and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.87. Pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections.
