This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter. The internal assembly uses a stainless steel shaft fitted with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft configuration. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding and utilizes a center-line discharge design for venting.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 2 HP Baldor motor in a 145T NEMA frame with an ODP enclosure. The electrical configuration is 200V, 60Hz, 3PH, utilizing across the line starting. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. The motor meets Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, and the pump assembly has a PEI of 0.88. The bearing frame features permanently lubricated sealed-for-life ball bearings.
