This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The pump includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber manages fluid containment at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design permits servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists in venting.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 10 HP Baldor Super E Premium Efficiency motor that meets MG1-12.55 standards. The motor is configured with an ODP enclosure, a JM frame style with feet, and an ambient temperature rating of 40°C. Power requirements are 230-460/60/3 PH with an across-the-line starting option. This model has a DOE PEI of 0.92.
