This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump uses a 6-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of stainless steel (NSF61), housed within a cast iron casing and cover. The unit includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. It also features flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge supports piping alignment.
This pump is configured with a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure on a 184 JM frame with feet. The electrical specifications include a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and across the line starting. The unit operates at 3450 RPM and features AEGIS shaft grounding and premium efficiency that meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. The motor is rated for 40 °C ambient temperature conditions with counter-clockwise rotation. This product maintains a DOE PEI of 0.87.
