This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and flush seal line taps.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured for a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply and is mounted on a NEMA 286TS frame. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is installed on a welded base with an integral drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. The system is designed for across-the-line starting and carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.9.
