This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly does not include a wear ring.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 60 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 364 T-frame configuration. It uses a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is connected via a Woods coupler covered by an OSHA-compliant guard. This equipment is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
