This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal bronze impeller. It incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components, providing compatibility with clean water temperatures up to 300°F. The casing includes gauge ports at both the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP TEFC Baldor motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards (MG1-12.55) and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and is protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard and a Woods coupler. The pump has a CCW rotation, operates at 40°C ambient, and has a DOE PEI of 0.91.
