This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The bearing housing contains sealed-for-life, permanently lubricated ball bearings.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured in a NEMA 184 T-frame and uses a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply. The unit features across-the-line starting and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard utilizing a Woods coupler. This motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
