This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber components, rated for operation at temperatures up to 225°F. The assembly includes a bearing frame with greasable bearings.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor is housed in a NEMA 145 T frame and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that incorporates an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard with a standard Woods coupler. This equipment features a 40°C ambient rating and a CCW rotation, with a DOE PEI value of 0.81.
