This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the pump shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly incorporates a rear pullout design, a top center line discharge, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure, operating at 1750 RPM. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor uses a 284 JM frame with feet and includes premium efficiency components meeting MG1-12.55 standards with AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and features a counter-clockwise rotation. This model has a Pump Efficiency Index (PEI) of 0.92.
