This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly includes a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a rear pullout design and a top centerline discharge configuration. The unit features a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber supports fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing provides pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, along with flush seal line taps.
This pump is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for 200V, 60Hz, 3PH operation. It utilizes a NEMA 184 JM frame with feet and operates at 1750 RPM. The electrical configuration includes an across the line starting option and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and provides a PEI value of 0.86. The unit is designed for operation in a 40°F ambient environment and features a counter-clockwise rotation.
