This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 5" suction and 4" discharge connections. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and includes an easy-to-replace slip-on shaft sleeve to facilitate maintenance. It is configured with a mechanical seal containing a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit features ANSI Class 125 flanges, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design permits servicing without disturbing system piping.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured with a JM frame style with feet, AEGIS shaft grounding, and a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA standard requirements and premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump includes across-the-line starting and functions in a 40°C ambient environment with CCW rotation. It is rated for a DOE PEI of 0.92.
