This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve to facilitate a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This assembly is rated for clean water service at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for monitoring system performance.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 25 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 284T frame. Power input is 230-460/60/3 PH, and the motor features premium efficiency ratings per MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is configured with a Woods coupler, a welded base with an integral drip pan, and a standard coupler guard. The pump is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and conforms to NEMA standards. It utilizes an across-the-line starting option and has a DOE PEI value of 0.9.
