This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump assembly includes a bronze wear ring and uses ANSI Class 125 flanges. The mechanical seal utilizes a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 300°F for clean water applications. This unit incorporates a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from circulating fluids and includes flush seal line taps along with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured with a NEMA 184 T-frame and requires a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly mounts on a welded structural steel base that features an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard housing a Woods coupler. The system is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI value of 0.86.
