This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection. The pump includes a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter. The internal construction incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid contact with the pump shaft. A mechanical seal is installed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disconnecting the system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration facilitates self-venting.
The pump is driven by a 10 HP motor enclosed in a TEFC housing. It operates at 3450 RPM and is configured for 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with across the line starting. The motor is a Baldor unit built to a 215 JM frame with feet. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature and achieves a PEI value of 0.9.
