This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The construction includes a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps for filter installation and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and facilitates self-venting.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is housed in a 184 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55, with a 40°C ambient temperature rating and counter-clockwise rotation. This equipment has a DOE PEI of 0.91.
